Martial arts have always been a passion of mine since I was a kid. Taekwondo and boxing were the only combat sports that I knew at the time. It was not until highschool that I watched MMA for the first time, the thrill of watching it shoots adrenaline through my body and I instantaneously became a MMA fan. I was very impressed with the effectiveness of Brazilian Jiujitsu and Muay Thai. The more I watch MMA, the more I understand about the differences and the advantages of each martial arts.
Right away, I started looking for martial art academies in Jakarta and started training. I was very lucky to train with one of the best MMA and BJJ coach in Indonesia, Fransino Tirta. I also started training Muay Thai and boxing. It only took 1.5 month of training before I started competing. Fighting and competing is in my blood. I love the adrenaline, the training for a fight and the camaderie with training partners.
In 2010, I decided to make the best martial art training camp in Indonesia. I called it Elite Training Camp. I dreamed to share my passion in martial arts to Indonesia. I want to show everyone that training martial art is much more fun and healthier than just regular fitness exercise. Martial art training is not always training for a fight, you can just train for the health benefits, but if you are in danger, you will be able to defend yourself.
The growth of Elite was rapid since the beginning; our gym became too small for comfort for our members. In 2013, we moved to a much bigger location with premium facilities. Now we have a functional gym, boxing ring, mma cage, sauna and pro shop in our new facility.
